RYAN BREWSTER, A.Ag., B.Sc.
Ryan received a degree in Biology from Brock University where his studies focused on viticulture and plant physiology. Ryan joined Ker Crop Management Services (KCMS) in 2001, as a seasonal employee concentrating on tree fruit and grape pest monitoring. In 2003, he accepted a full time position at KCMS as the Field Services Manager. Currently his duties include; hiring and training seasonal staff, identifying pest presence and associated damage, creating geo-referenced vineyard and orchard maps, coordinating research projects and data collection/analysis. Recently, he has been working on wind machine effectiveness in reducing winter injury of specific crops, creating a GPS-based pest monitoring protocol and tracking MALB populations in Niagara vineyards.
